The benefit auction organized by Extra City that took place on Wednesday evening, 17 December in Auction House Bernaerts, exceeded expectations.
In total 24 internationally reputed artists offered works to be brought under the hammer, allowing for the proceeds to be used to build towards the future of Extra City's much-acclaimed and ambitious program.
With the income from the auction the 2009 program has been assured, and thereby some necessary infrastructural improvements can go ahead.
